“Once you stop learning you start dying”— Albert Einstein (maybe)
Whether this quote was actually by Einstein is debatable, but it is moto I live by. Since the age of four you could find me with my nose in a book, hand blackened by pen.
I am eternally fascinated by the way in which we communicate. The dawn of the internet brought an abundance of beneficial information, and communication opportunities to our fingertips. The easy accessibility of this sharing has led to an information overload. Consumers have so much stimulation now they don’t know what to think, or where to begin. The interesting part about breaking through this noise, is how rational yet irrational consumer logic can be. While each new technology comes as a beneficial new manner to communicate to consumers, it also comes with more noise to break through. However by connecting to both the rational and irrational, with the right message, to the right people— even a whisper can be heard through the noise.
When not working I love traveling or cooking. Having been to 28 countries in the last 5 years, I enjoy spending time getting to know the locals. I want to know what their lives are like, what they eat, what their dreams are, what they do in their free time. Shared thoughts across a dinner table is universal—regardless of language barriers— communication goes beyond just words.
