If Diversity is Good for Business, Why Don't Venture Capitalists Bet on Women?

For many female fin-tech founders, the question isn’t “will this idea work?” but “will it get funded?”. With statistics proving that boards run by women generate more diverse thinking, and out perform those run by men, why does so little funding still go to women?
